The core of the SIB₃ team usually consists of about twenty full-time persons. Most of them are highly skilled professionals and have considerable experience in software development. For the team structure and SIB₃ core specialists, see the Team page.

According to the requirements of a specific project, additional specialists are typically invited to SIB₃ on a temporary contract basis. SIB₃ has in its "close neighborhood" 20-25 specialists (most of then very skilled) with a record of successful participation in SIB₃ projects. When necessary, the team can definitely be expanded up to 100 members - taking into account the capacity of the nearby human resource market of many hundreds of programmers and mathematicians.

SIB₃ operates in the Novosibirsk Scientific and Educational Center, called Akademgorodok, which is a conglomerate of about 30 institutions providing a fertile ground for research in mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, automatic control systems, and other areas. This allows hiring not only qualified software developers but also technology experts in virtually any field of knowledge.

SIB₃ occupies comfortable offices in a prestigious, well-equipped, building. The overall area of the offices is approximately 400 m², which providing sufficient space for a team of at least 60 persons.

SIB₃ has a state-of-the-art infrastructure: dozens of powerful PCs, Unix work stations, servers running Window 2000 Server (including terminal edition), FreeBSD, Linux and AIX. Local network, reliable Internet and international phone communication, teleconference facilities, security support means, etc., are also available.
