SIB3

about

AboutServicesProjectsJobContact

The core of the SIB3 team usually consists of about twenty full-time employees.

Among them there are 4 highly competent managers with management experience of 5-15 years and overall IT experience of more than 15 years. Each of the managers can supervise 1 to 3 projects, depending on size and other requirements. However, in the hardest cases a managerial team of 2 or 3 managers can be assigned to one project.

About half of the team core members are skilled software architects and developers with experience from 3 to 10 or more years. They are all capable of mentoring junior developers and students to achieve high productivity, while still keeping the quality of our software products at a very high level.

SIB3 also has a QA department that controls software development process through all stages from project inception to release and post-production support. The leader of the QA department (the quality engineer), has more than 20 years of IT experience and exceptionally broad knowledge of software development technologies.

SIB3 is a complete company with its own sales and accounting services.

Based on the requirements of a project, additional specialists are typically invited to SIB3 on a temporary contract basis as developers, testers and even field or technology experts: the perfect location of SIB3 allows hiring of very high-quality staff if necessary. The team can easily be expanded to 100 members.

To characterize the SIB3 core skill profile, we estimated the average skill level on the following skill level scales.

For software development:
1 - has read documentation or books, but no practice.
2 - university or training courses, training projects,
3 - novice - less than 0.5 years work experience,
4 - intermediate - 0.5 to 2 years work experience,
5 - proficient - 2 to 4 years work experience,
6 - expert - more than 4 years work experience,
7 - expert and experience in leading/training teams,

For English communication skills:
2 - utterly poor - some skills in a specific area,
3 - poor - can explain/understand all basic ideas with a dictionary,
4 - fair - can fully and clearly explain/understand all basic ideas, possibly with a few mistakes
5 - good - same, without significant mistakes,
6 - excellent - fluent within a specific area.
